[He isn't sure what exactly happened between leaving the classroom that day and the next morning. Only that he had somehow ended up getting so horridly sick that even the front office lady sounded concerned when he called in about needing a substitute. He had barely called in for work, usually being extremely healthy and quite good at avoiding getting sick, so him being bedridden was a shock to himself.

Still, the nice sudden break from being at school and teaching was nice. That, and being able to sleep a good portion of the day was good.

And who was he kidding, he wasn't sure what to make of what was going on between him and Jason. He, of course, was happy to oblige to the partnership. But he still wondered just exactly how things would work. It wasn't like he couldn't deal with staying professional during school hours, but he couldn't see how this relationship would affect the teen. It wasn't exactly healthy. And he didn't want to subject the other to a relationship that had a high chance of caving in on itself.

Maybe the fact that he would't be in class for a few days were good. Jason would be able to think perhaps, and if it ended as a fluke, Dick wouldn't mind. At least he didn't mind if it meant Jason being happier with someone else. But he couldn't be selfish about it right?

God why is he thinking this, he needs more sleep. Hopefully the substitute got all his lesson plans.]

[Dick looked like he just got out of the shower. His hair was wet and there was a towel around his neck. He was topless and only in what looked like boxers with elephants on them. Dick, stop walking around in your underwear with guests around.]

Making breakfast. I hope you like your eggs sunny-side up.

[Well, that's nice to the eyes. But Jay is too sleepy to notice, he's a night creature]

Sure, but ya didn't have to cook, I could have done it... [He flops on the sofa, hiding his head under the blankets again. Yeah he could have done it, but it'd have taken all morning just for him to wake up.]

How ya feeling? Better?

[Oh god. How would Jason react once he's awake enough...]

I don't mind. I woke up feeling a lot better. And taking a nice shower was good. [A few minutes later and Dick comes out with a tray that had two plates with eggs and toast and two glasses of juice.] I slept well too. [Sits next to him.]

[He'd ogle and stare, of course. He's possessive but not an idiot. And then ask Dick who else got to see him rummaging around like that, mind your worlds carefully Grayson...]

[As it is, he just lets his head flop onto Dick's shoulder. His voice comes out all muffled from under the blankets]

Smells nice.

[Oh god. He might not want to answer Jason just because that means going through all his train wreck relationships. And that isn't something he plans on bringing up. Ever.]

What smells nice? [He uses fruity shampoos. Just saying. Because what is Dick and using manly hair products?

I bet his soap smells fruity too or something.]

[It's not like this one is going to be less of a train wreck. Except this one is going to have a happy ending, if Jay has something to say about it.]

[Train wrecks with happy endings. Weird, but he'd appreciate it. There's only so many relationships one can go through before getting tired of them and just giving up. Except Dick is stubborn.]

Well I did just take a shower. I guess it's from all the fruity products I use. [Because he doesn't like Old Spice?]

Way to go. [He laughs a bit before kissing his cheek lightly.] Are you completely up yet mister sleepyhead? Breakfast is waiting.

[It's going to be a train wreck because. Well, it's Jason, he has this unconcious need to make everything in his life a train wreck actually. Like he doesn't believe he should be happy or something like that.

But he can and will fight for this thank you very much.]

Hm... don't call me that [he grunts, looking at him in a way that's far too sleepy to be a glare] but yeah, I am. Let's eat.

[Dick just does stupid mistakes that become worst then they should have been.

But Dick will cling onto this unless Jason shows signs of not wanting to be around him anymore. Even if this is going to be tricky to work with.]

Haha, fine~! [He hands Jason one of the plates of food and a fork while he grabs his own.] Eat up then.

[Silly Dick, you'll have to teach Jay how to ignore your mistakes. Not that there's much that Dick could do to make Jay honestly mad at him to the point of not forgiving...]

I am, I am [and eating he does, glancing at Dick every now and then. He already looked better when they ate last night, but he looks completely fine and relaxed now that he's showered.

And it suddenly hits him he should shower too...]

[But you love him even with the mistakes he makes? He wouldn't make mistakes that would jeopardize their relationship. He just makes stupid mistakes.

He just hums softly a bit as he eats. He'll probably be back in school by Monday. Because not going to work apparently is something he can't deal with.]

How lon are you staying here? I assume you want to take a shower, but I doubt my clothes can even fit you.

[Of course he does- well. He's still a little wary on the love part but that's just him being stubborn about his feelings. And this early in the morning he's too tired to try and deny that]

Hm. As long as you'll have me? [He looks up at him] you're taller, so nah they wouldn't.

... I can go home if that's a problem though.

[He thinks that's what Dick is implying, and Jay's a lot of things but subtle isn't one of them]

[Jason will eventually succumb to his feelings. He just needs to sort them out or something. Or stop being stubborn already.]

That isn't the problem. I just don't want you to get in trouble for being out too long while I'm here monopolizing your attention. [He snorts a little.

He'd never want the other to leave if it was possible.]

[Being stubborn is how he got them together in the first place though. He would have given up as soon as Dick had told him to go back to his seat otherwise.]

That's fine, mother told me not to worry [he shrugs] as long as I'm home before dawn today it'll be okay.

[He really should have told you to go back to your seat. Stupid stubborn Jason.]

Alright. As long as you won't get into trouble. But that just means I have you all to myself for now. [He laughs a little.]

[Nope. And it's not like he regrets it anyway. He'd do it again if given the chance. And again and again, no matter how this ends, or what he gets out of it.]

Yeah... [not too sleepy to miss on the sexual undertones, but he knows Dick wouldn't be that direct. He rubs his eyes.] Did ya have something in mind?

[You just love harassing the teacher don't you Jason.

Dick probably doesn't even realize the sexual undertones. Get your mind out of your pants.] Not really. I don't do too much during the weekends, so you'll have to think of something for this boring guy to do.

[Pretty much. He doesn't go usually fucking them for teasing purposes though.

No his mind is comfortable there thank you] It depends on if you're still sick or something.

[Well yeah. You usually don't go fucking your teacher in general though.]

I'm fine now. I probably shouldn't go out just in case, but I'm pretty sure that I can be active at the very least. Not go to the gym and do some flips active though. But usually sweating is supposed to help you get better? [Raises an eyebrow.]

[Point. Dick should feel honored.]

Well, yeah. But sweating under a blanket and drinking soup and all that stuff, not sweating because of exercise.

[He tilts his head]

You wanna stay inside then? Because I don't mind. I can just go to the gym to sweat it out later. [He's... rather active]

[Not sure if one should be honored about that.]

[He laughs though.]

I can go out too if you want. [Although that may or may not be a terrible idea for them to do.] But I kind of like just relaxing with you.

[Jason's former fuck-buddies didn't have any complains. Granted, they were all around his ago and eager to get into his good side but still.]

Ha, ha. But I kinda like playing nurse for you, makes me feel important. [He smirks.

And yes it'd be a terrible idea so Jason won't even bother considering it for now. If Dick really shows sign of getting better, he might let him exercise.]

I'm fine with that. Wanna watch a movie or... [he tilts his head]

[Yeah, well Dick isn't just a fuck buddy now is he. Things work different for this teacher.]

Should I get sick more often or something. I'm no sure I appreciate being stuck in bed, even if I do adore having your attention.

[Or they can just cuddle and be cute all day.]

I'm fine with a movie. You can choose something from the cupboard near the T.V. [Which probably had movies ranging from Disney to things that probably should never be watched around children.]

Well good. Because I don't think I can handle getting constantly sick. I had enough of that as a kid. Getting sick that is.

[He laughs a little as he gets comfortable on the couch. He should grab clothes. Oh well.]
