[He isn't sure what exactly happened between leaving the classroom that day and the next morning. Only that he had somehow ended up getting so horridly sick that even the front office lady sounded concerned when he called in about needing a substitute. He had barely called in for work, usually being extremely healthy and quite good at avoiding getting sick, so him being bedridden was a shock to himself.

Still, the nice sudden break from being at school and teaching was nice. That, and being able to sleep a good portion of the day was good.

And who was he kidding, he wasn't sure what to make of what was going on between him and Jason. He, of course, was happy to oblige to the partnership. But he still wondered just exactly how things would work. It wasn't like he couldn't deal with staying professional during school hours, but he couldn't see how this relationship would affect the teen. It wasn't exactly healthy. And he didn't want to subject the other to a relationship that had a high chance of caving in on itself.

Maybe the fact that he would't be in class for a few days were good. Jason would be able to think perhaps, and if it ended as a fluke, Dick wouldn't mind. At least he didn't mind if it meant Jason being happier with someone else. But he couldn't be selfish about it right?

God why is he thinking this, he needs more sleep. Hopefully the substitute got all his lesson plans.]

I can't do anything to help if you don't tell me what's wrong. [He wraps his arms around the other, rubbing circles on Jason's back in a calming manner.] I don't want you to be scared of anything.

[He leans into the touch, sighing] ...I don't know. Nothing is wrong. [He closes his eyes] I am just not. Good with all this feelings stuff. [He looks up again, meeting his face] But I... we... are dating, right? I mean, do you want to...?

[He hums, returning a few of the kisses and just leaning into the others. With only those few words, it's obviously visible he's managed to calm him down, at least a little]

Good. ...So it's... okay if I callyouboyfriend, yeah? [He wiggles] I mean, in private. I am not an idiot. [Only a kid would get so worked up about a single word]

[He goes back to nuzzling against the other.]

You can call me whatever you want to call me. [Laughs a little.] You can if you want though. [Dick finds it endearing, so it's okay.]

[He holds back a 'yessss' or something equally embarrassing and reaches to press their lips together in a quick peck, arms wrapping around him into a hug]

You're... something. [He smiles up at him]

[He kisses him back, snuggling into his arms. He's quite the affectionate guy for his age.]

[That's ok, Jason is feeling affectionate right now]

A good thing, most of the time anyway. [He was going to lean for a deeper kiss but then he just... sticks his tongue out, making a face] I can still taste you. I need a shower.

[He laughs a bit and shoves you.] Then go take one. You know, now I feel like I need to take a shower, and I already took one! [Thanks a lot.] There's clean towels in the cabinet in the bathroom. Go clean up. I can check if I have clothes that will fit you.

I'd say we can shower together [He flicks Dick's forehead] but I bet your body needs a little rest?

You can shower first though, if you want. It's your house.

[Laughs a little.] Maybe a bath sounds better right now. [He rarely takes them.]
